Troubleshooting

If you're not feeling haptic feedback:

  1. Check device settings: Go to Settings โ†’ Sounds & Haptics โ†’ ensure "System Haptics" is enabled
  2. Check in-app settings: Make sure haptics are enabled in Haptique Settings
  3. Check Silent Mode: Some haptics may be reduced in Silent Mode
  4. Restart the app: Force close and reopen Haptique
  5. Device compatibility: Ensure your device has Taptic Engine (iPhone 7 or newer)

If sounds aren't working:

  1. Make sure your device isn't in Silent Mode (check the switch on the side)
  2. Check that sound feedback is enabled in Haptique Settings
  3. Increase your device volume
  4. If using Bluetooth headphones, try disconnecting them
  5. Restart the app

If Haptique is crashing:

  1. Update the app: Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
  2. Restart your device: This often resolves temporary issues
  3. Free up storage: The app needs some free space to run smoothly
  4. Reinstall: Delete and reinstall the app (your Premium subscription will restore)

If crashes continue, please contact us with details about when the crash occurs.

If the Watch app is not updating as expected:

  1. Make sure both devices are connected (Bluetooth/WiFi)
  2. Restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch
  3. Ensure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID
  4. Check that both apps are updated to the latest version

Haptique is designed to be battery-efficient, but extended use may consume more power. To reduce battery usage:

  • Reduce haptic intensity in Settings
  • Disable sound feedback when it is not needed
  • Stop active sessions when you are finished
  • Reduce screen brightness

The app uses no background battery when closed.
